Playing at home

We spent most of the weekend just playing at home. We enjoyed waking up to SNOW! on Saturday morning, but by early afternoon, it was about 60! We took a nice long walk around the neighborhood before going out for pizza. This morning, Jason and I both enjoyed a whole church service without one of us being in the nursery with Katelynn! We ate lunch with Uncle Jay and Aunt Jamie before heading home for the rest of the weekend of basketball (boo KU) and racing. Katelynn managed to run head first into the wall on Friday night, which is where the scrape on her forehead came from and she scratched her cheek this morning. So, hopefully those heal up before pictures next weekend! We are looking forward to Monday evening - when Gran and Grandpa return from HAWAII!!!!

New Camera...lots of pics to come!

We got our new camera on Wednesday night and we've been taking pictures like crazy. This is only the beginning....

Strawberries....

Katelynn is such a clown. Just when I thought I had the picture of the day, one of these two of her sleeping -



she ate strawberries! She was talking the whole time and managed a few "cheezy" grins.

14 Months

Katelynn is 14 months old today. We enjoyed a beautiful 60 degree day - melting snow piles everywhere!

In addition to walking and talking all the time, Katelynn loves life! She has recently added baby and see ya to her vocabulary. I think that brings the total to about 15 or so words. Jason says he heard her say Peyton a few times yesterday, but I never did. She ♥'s our little adventure to dinner or to the store. She loves people, especially other children. She is such a joy and blessing to us.

Our day trip

This pretty much sums up our day trip to visit Ann & Ben and meet Peyton! Katelynn and Peyton are great friends. Peyton followed Katelynn around, licked her face, ate treats from her hand, and they played with the same toys. What a fun time we had! We toured the campus, Katelynn lost her sunglasses, we ate yummy mexican food, played with Peyton, and Katelynn ate her first peep. Thanks Auntie Ann! :) We had a wonderful day enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
