Iowa

Jason had a race at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, and he invited Katelynn and I to join him. We left our house bright and early Friday morning and made it to the race track before noon. This was Katelynn's first trip to Iowa and her first visit to a race track. She had lots of fun meeting Daddy's friends. We of course invited Grammy and Grandpa to come and join the fun. Grandpa stayed at the race track with Jason while Grammy enjoyed playing with Katelynn at the hotel.






On Saturday morning, Katelynn enjoyed running around the hotel with Grandpa. He would let her run around the halls, take the glass elevator for a ride, and do anything she wanted to. She had so much fun! I think Grammy and Grandpa did, too!






Before we headed for home, we had a yummy lunch at Olive Garden, complete with tiramisu!










Thanks Grammy and Grandpa for making our trip to Iowa even more fun! We love you!
