Happy Birthday Grammy!

Today is Grammy's birthday, I wish you were still here! I did have a lot of fun talking to you this afternoon. Daddy, Mommy, and Maggie thought I was hysterical! Glad we got to celebrate last week! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Here's what I did today... (it was rainy and cold again!)

A week with Grammy!

I had a whole week with my Grammy! I wish she was still here! I hope you'll come visit me again soon!

As soon as we got home from the airport, I took a little nap, and then it was back to playing outside. Look at my car - I love it! Sorry you missed it!

15 Months

Well, I'm a little late in posting these stats - afterall, Katelynn is 15 months and 5 days.

We went to see Dr. Hunt on Friday, where we received lots of good news. Katelynn is doing perfectly. Dr. Hunt has no concerns.

Here are her stats:

Katelynn is 25 pounds 12 ounces (87%), 31.5 inches tall (68%), and her head is 46.6 cm (71%).

As you know, she is running everywhere and getting into everything! She ♥'s to be outside and absolutely HATES to come in. She wants to do everything herself. She wants to walk down the stairs by herself, walk out to the car by herself, and never ever get in the carseat. She wants to go for a wagon ride, she wants a sippy cup of milk, and she wants to go outside! She wants to feed herself and she wants you to dip it before you give it to her. Chips need salsa, crackers need soup, fries need catsup, and so on. She wants to drink out of your straw, carry my purse, try on your sunglasses, close the door, open every cabinet and drawer, use the computer, talk on the phone - you know, the typical life of a fifteen month old.

On a boat...

Today we took advantage of the beautiful day and went for a boat ride. Grandpa, Gran, Daddy, Mommy, Grammy and me! This is Grandpa and I walking to the boat...he ♥'s me!

Uh-oh! Grammy wasn't so sure about being "on a boat!"
Daddy was the captain of our ship.
I got my sea legs pretty quickly and walked all around!


Grammy and I hung out for a little bit...
Then it was time for me to drive the boat...

As you can see I get right up on the wheel. A true oarswoman.

Grammy really liked it when we got out on the Bay, notice that her lifejacket is OFF!

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a blessed Easter! I guess I will make this a two part entry - it's late and I am tired! We had a busy and wonderful weekend! ♥

The morning began (too early) with a little Easter Egg hunt which led the little Princess to her basket.



She was so pleased that her eggs made noise and had treats inside!









She found her Easter basket in her favorite drawer in the kitchen and then headed off to the living room to play with her new ball. She found a little treat from Grammy and Grandpa, which was hidden on the piano bench.




Then, she decided it was time for a little breakfast...and what did she find next? A Tinkerbell Easter pail with treats from Uncle Jeff, Aunt Natalie and Allison!
