Finally...

I'm a little behind on updating and there's just one more week of me being home with Katelynn. Each day is memorable and precious. I love the time we've gotten to spend together. I know she'll be in good hands with Angie - thankfully, I don't need to worry about that!

Last week, the home health nurse came to visit and Katelynn weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces, a full pound more than 2 weeks ago, and 21.5 inches long. In just over a month, she gained an inch and just over a pound.

The newborn clothes are still very handy, we've found the only thing she has outgrown is the footed sleeper, which looked a little short, especially when she was kicking and screaming!

Katelynn posed in her 0-3 month outfit from Grammy:

Katelynn wants Grammy to know that she is still really little, but couldn't resist wearing this cute outfit, even if it is a little big!

We enjoyed having Aunt Kara come visit us a week ago, for a quick weekend visit while she was in Chicago for work. Katelynn can't wait to meet Uncle Chris, Austin and Avery!

This past weekend, Katelynn got to meet her Great Aunt Teresa and Uncle Gary, Will and Ben. I didn't take any pictures with them, so hopefully they did or maybe my parents did. We enjoyed spending time with the boys, who turn 2 in July and found out they don't like it when their mommy holds Katelynn! Hopefully, they'll be willing to pose for a picture the next time we see them. We enoyed your visit - thanks for coming!

Last night, Jason and I were able to go out for dinner and to the Phil Vassar concert! We were so excited to see Phil again - he's the best live performance you'll ever see. This is the sixth time we've seen him, but this time it was acostic - just Phil and his guitar player, Jeff.

Thanks to Gran and Grandpa who stayed with Katelynn!

Here's a few more pics from the past week:

Love her beautiful Big blue eyes checking things out. Looks like she enjoys her baths more now too. Talk to you soon.
