Katelynn's 2nd Christmas

We enjoyed a snowy and slow drive to Ashland, WI on Christmas Eve morning to enjoy Christmas with the McClain's of the North. We spent Christmas Day at Grandma's, and got to go swimming on Saturday morning before we left for home. Our family celebration continued on Saturday evening with Gran and Grandpa, Uncle Jay ("JJ") and Aunt Jamie. Then, the finale was on Sunday, at our house with Meghan ("Mimi"). We had a wonderful Christmas! ♥

Sunday Fun

We had a busy day decorating Christmas cookies and playing at Gran and Grandpa's house during the game. Katelynn had a lot of fun!

The Park

Katelynn enjoyed probably her last trip to the park for the rest of the "winter." We had lots of fun following her around and watching her go down the slides, smiling all the way.

Halloween

Katelynn got to go Trick or Treating for the first time on Halloween. Too bad it was soo cold and prevented her from enjoying it. She was a super cute bumblebee, saying "Hi!" to everyone who answered their door and then saying "Thank You" for the candy. ♥

♥...Kansas City...♥ The Final Installment

Our last day in KC came much too fast! I wish we could have stayed longer, just one day short of celebrating Allison's birthday. What better way than to go shopping?

Katelynn had the most fun pushing Allison around in her stroller! Allison had a wild ride!

♥...Kansas City...♥ Day 4

Oh, I love long weekends, especially when we are lucky enough to be in Kansas City. We started Monday morning with a fabulous photo session with Jen. I cannot say enough about her and her fabulous work. We had a wonderful couple hours with her at the park, which of course, resulting in beautiful pictures. You can see a few of them on her blog. ♥

After the park, we ate lunch with Grammy and took advantage of the beautiful day and played outside. Uncle Jeff, Aunt Natalie and Allison came over later in the afternoon and we enjoyed a yummy homemade dinner, PIZZA! We played the rest of the night, my favorite is watching the girls together. They are so cute! I loved helping Allison walk! ♥
