All ready for out nightly walk - a little cooler than usual!

5 Months

Today is Katelynn's 5 month birthday! Jason and I are so happy and blessed to have such an adorable little princess. She melts our hearts. Katelynn loves to see what is going on around her....don't you dare set her down to play alone! She loves to be held and played with. She puts everything in her mouth - her hands, her toes, my hair, the telephone, hunks of fur! She loves to look in the mirror - she laughs and giggles and touches the mirror. She usually stops smiling for the camera, but we can assure you that she is the happiest little girl. She sits pretty well, without much assistance, she rolls, and most importantly - she sleeps!

Last night, she went for her first stroller ride without her infant seat. She loved it - now she can see where she is going!



We enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day, spending most of the day with Gran, Grandpa and Uncle Jay! (Pictures to come soon) Jason spent most the day cuddling with his littlest princess.

Swimming!

Today was Katelynn's first swimming class, Water Exploration. We enjoyed our time with her in the water - she loved it! We played and sang and swam - it was a blast. Katelynn was the youngest (and cutest) of the class. We took some pictures before class, since both of us were in the water with her, we don't have any of her in the water. Maybe Gran and Grandpa can come sometime and snap some action shots for us!





Later in the day, Katelynn helped me wrap Father's Day presents! She'll be a huge help at Christmas!

Early Mornings

Katelynn has been a great sleeper for almost her whole life...but this week, she decided to start waking up a little before 5:00 each morning. That's only 90 minutes earlier than usual! Thankfully, Friday morning she slept until her normal time, 6:30. This is what Jason found when he walked in her room to get her up:




She is sooo funny! We had a wonderful evening with Uncle Jay and Gran and Grandpa. We celebrated Uncle Jay's 25th Birthday!!!! We start swimming lessons in the morning - what an exciting day we'll have.

A fun night...

Jason has been anxious to take Katelynn for a walk in the front pack, so we ventured out for a long walk after dinner. Katelynn loved it! Almost as much fun as a bike ride!

20 Weeks

We've been having so much fun with our little princess! She is such a joy. Here are two pictures from this week. We've been soo busy and we are looking forward to a more relaxing week.

Oh yes, this is how she woke up. She sure was happy, though!
