Lots of progress
The bedroom is almost completely finished, I'm anxious to start moving my scrapbooking stuff into the closet this week! Trim is up, corner seat is upholstered, and the closet is ready. Just a few little touch-ups are required to the paint and then we are ready to start moving furniture!
The light bar and mirror were installed in the bathroom, what a difference that makes.
We also did lots of shopping around and have everything that is necessary to get the cedar closet up to it's full potential. Now, if only we didn't have to work during the week!
Pictures to come...

Baby Book
I am so excited!! I ordered a baby book for Tinkerbell. I can't wait to start on it. Thanks to "Auntie Ann" I have lots of great stickers to start scrapbooking with right away! I had no idea how I was going to make my own, so I found this great website that has it all organized for me. It comes with 20 keepsake pages and then I ordered the first holidays and the month to month pages for the first year.

Easily Annoyed
I am the first one to admit that I am easily annoyed, so I hope this is my last post about this, as it is certainly not my first!
We had a 4-D ultrasound on September 10th, you can refer to earlier posts to see pictures of Tinkerbell from that magical day. Due to lots of questions of "when are you going to find out if she really is a girl," we asked Dr. Honkamp about this at our last appointment on October 10th. At that point, I posted that "If you are thinking Tinkerbell might be a boy...better luck next time! Tinkerbell is most certainly a girl..."
There are no more ultrasounds scheduled. Everything is going perfectly! The only reason to have another ultrasound would be closer to my due date (Jan. 19th) to determine how big she is.
So, Grandpa Mr. Shultz - stop spreading rumors!

The Third Trimester!!!! 27 Weeks
Oh my goodness! I can't believe we've made it to the third trimester already. Where has the time gone? I'm happy to say that we are all doing well and feeling pretty good! We had a busy weekend: charity bowling, suprise retirement party, girl's night, children's church, a romantic dinner, and LOTS OF WORK in the basement! Jason laid the floor in the cedar closet on Saturday and together we laid the floor in the guest room on Sunday. Thankfully, there wasn't a Packer game, otherwise the progress wouldn't be quite as impressive.

26 Weeks
I got to spend the weekend with my best friend, Ann, visiting her in Carbondale, IL at the Southern Illinois University. We had a wonderful time - a much needed mini vacation for me and Tinkerbell! Ann was the perfect host and she made sure we got plenty of ice cream! Ann got Tinkerbell the most adorable outfit from Janie and Jack - they have the cutest, most adorable clothes! Thanks Ann!!! We had a great visit! So glad I got to meet Ben - looking forward to the boys meeting next month!

Doctor's Visit
We went to the doctor today for my normal monthly check-up. I had the pleasure of drinking a yummy lemon-lime glucose syrup. YUM! This esentially tests for gestational diabetes, which no one wants, especially me! I am measuring right on for 25.5 weeks and Tinkerbell was moving around like crazy, her heart beating 154 beats a minute. We have one more monthly visit and then it's every two weeks! Time is going by so quickly...soon she'll be here!
For those of you thinking Tinkerbell might be a boy...better luck next time! Tinkerbell is most certainly a girl and if you look at the "money shot" you can clearly see her little girl parts. So...bring on the pink! We can't wait!

Chicago
There is just nothing better than a weekend in Chicago! We got to spend Saturday with Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jim, who were enjoying a weekend away from Kansas City.
We enjoyed a tour of Chicago, seeing Wrigley Field, munching on Chicago-style pizza, Michigan Avenue, The Shedd Aquarium, yummy dinner, and cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory at the John Hancock Building!

Week 24 Pics Coming Soon
I know everyone is anxious to see week 24's pictures. We had a much too stressful weekend and I was not in the mood to take any pictures. Please know that as soon as we can, we'll take some pics for you all to see.
The Packers did win and Tinkerbell enjoyed the game! Tinkerbell was blessed with a wonderful visit with her Grammy and Grandpa Shultz and her great-grandparents McClain of the South. We couldn't be happier that you came to visit. Lots of love to you!
