Playdate

One of the things Katelynn loves to do is play at the park. She loves to swing and go down the slides. On Friday, we had the chance to hang out with my high school girlfriends and their kiddos. There were six of us and 10 munchkins! We had a wonderful time, even though the weather was a little cool for July!

18 Months!

I can barely comprehend the love we have for our sweet Katelynn and how quickly the past year and a half has happened. Katelynn is such a wonderful addition to our family. She wakes up and joyfully says "momma!!" until one of us rescues her from her crib. At night, she sips her milk, hands us her cup and says "night night" before closing her eyes and going to sleep.

Katelynn continues to amaze us. She has no fear - none, zero! She follows all the big kids around. She doesn't need help doing anything! That's fine, except it freaks me out a little bit.

Katelynn talks constantly. This month she has added: puppy, birdie, choo choo, Becca, Tristan, Gracie, diamond. She is very talkative, very friendly, and full of kisses and hugs for you!

Katelynn loves to be outside, she loves to drive her car, the boat, and the lawnmower. Her favorite snacks are red grapes and bananas. She loves drinking from a straw and makes the funniest face when taking a sip of a Cherry Limeade. Ice cream is also a new treat, watching her is the best part! I'll try to get some pictures of that soon!

Baby Corbin

Last night, we went to go visit my friend Shanna's new little baby. Corbin is soo tiny, I can barely remember 18 months ago when Katelynn was that little. Katelynn wasn't so excited that Mommy and Daddy were holding Corbin, but we could occasionally distract her! Katelynn did have fun playing with Harrison. Somehow, I didn't take any pictures of the baby-hogger with Corbin. He did take all of these, though. Congratulations Rob & Shanna! ♥♥

Sunday Softball

We finally made it to our first softball game of the year. Gran and Uncle Jay both play softball on Sunday night, but so far, only Katelynn has been to one of their games. This week, the game was in Ellington, instead of Greenville, so Katelynn got to play on a new playground. She had a ton of fun!

We played and then we watched some of the game...

And then we would go play...
